2017 AGM

It's that time of year again. Coast OnScreen will have its annual AGM on Sunday 8th October at The Lounge Room (2/342 Mann Street, Gosford), from Noon till 2PM.

All paid up members of CoS are invited to attend. There will be reports on our activities for the past year and future plans. This is a good chance to meet fellow members if you haven't already, and discuss future activities.

Also the Committee will stand down and a new Committee (re)elected. New nominations from members are welcome. There are 4 office bearers: President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Plus up to 4 'Ordinary' members.

Anyone who wishes to nominate can get forms from this Google Drive Link. You will need two fellow members to Endorse your nomination.

If any vacancies remain, nominations can be taken on the day.

Look forward to meeting you all there.

Creative Meeting: Acting For Camera

Our first Creative Meeting of 2017 is about Acting for Camera. This is not an acting lesson as such. More an overview of performance as it relates to filmmaking. A great one for any actors out there, especially those who haven't had much experience in front of a camera yet.

The first hour will be the regular workshop on the theme of the month from Phil, our President, followed by an hour of script reading and analysis. This is a free filmmaking workshop available on the Central Coast.

Scripts should be up to 10 pages, either a short film or scene from something longer. If you have a script you would like to read, bring printed copies for the readers.

The Creative Meeting is free to Coast on Screen Members. You can join at the door for just $5 and that covers you for a year membership.
if you have any questions about the workshop please ask us.

This is followed by our usual script reading and assessment forum. So if you have a script you would like to have read and discussed, bring it along (with enough printouts for a reading).

So come along to learn, contribute, or just listen in.
